Wow y'all... a member from Australia!

I commented to my brand new blogging buddy Jenny over in Australia on her blog about this network. Jenny's a ninger too. She came on over and joined in. Jenny has her own ning community called ozwebhub.ning.com It's about blogging, web design, css, etc., and she's pretty good at it from the looks of things. Please make Jenny feel welcome.

Move some bits

When I "created" this network last December I wasn't sure what I was doing but I knew for sure that I wanted a community forum. I wasn't sure what would happen so I invited about 20 friends, about six of them joined up and then everybody either forgot about it or emailed me with a "Now What?" on their eager shiny faces. I volunteered to help but had to dash out to Japan to check up on the grandkids and my son's startup so could not help before I headed out. Upon my return, I got buried at the BEC trying to meet the OECDD's deadline for a response to an RFP. Bob Warren our Region 4 (Linn, Lane, Lincoln and Benton County's) economic developmen… Continue

Missa Solemnis

What can I say about this great work? Vocally it is sheer torture, due to the off-the-chart tessitura. When people back in Beethoven's day complained to him about it I can just imagine him saying "Sucks to be you" or whatever the German equivalent was. He didn't have to be artistic in the stratosphere -- I'm sure Ludwig only sang this in his own mind or marked it in a ghastly rumbling voice very loudly and probably an octave down from where it's written. At any rate,… Continue

Talkr Widget

We need some action around here. OK, anybody..... anybody? Who am I fooling? I'm talking to myself. Oh well, it always guarantees an interested audience. Check this out, Colleen: I joined Talkr.com and found some fun toys there. Not only did I enable the Tix•R•Us Blog with an automatic play bar but I also grabbed their entire blog post audio select. Previously I had been waiting until F… Continue
